WhatsApp is one of the world's most popular messaging apps, with more than 2 billion users around the world. The site is constantly coming up with many new features and updates that will improve the messaging experience. WhatsApp Dark Mode recently launched, increasing the range of group voice and video call attendance from 4 to 8, banning frequently forwarded messages to more than one chat.
Last seen
for select friends:
WhatsApp now
allows users to share their last seen status with contacts, with everyone or
with no one (no one). You can't just share your last status with a select few
friends. But the Watts App is working on a feature that it can do.
In-app
browser:
WhatsApp is
working to bring in-app browser feature that allows users to open it within the
messaging site, rather than redirect to the web browser when opening links sent
via chats. This in-app browser feature reduces the time it takes to open links.
This feature is expected to work its way through several apps, including
Twitter and LinkedIn.
Self-destructing
messages:
This is
another aspect that has been in the works for a long time. Send messages
automatically disappear after a certain time, like WhatsApp Stories and Status,
which automatically disappear after 24 hours. Self-destructing or disappearing
feature is renamed Delete Messages. It is also expected to arrive soon for
standard versions
Multiple
device support:
WhatsApp has been exploring multidevice support for months. This functionality allows users to log in to their WhatsApp account at a time when activated on more than one device. Users are actually only required to log in to a single device for their WhatsApp account. If you sign in to another program the same user will log out of the first system automatically
WhatsApp
QR code:
WhatsApp is working on a new feature that allows you to scan a QR code to add new contacts. Users will show their own QR code, search other people's QR code and add it to their contacts. It functionality is now available in Android and iOS platform beta models, and is scheduled to launch shortly for regular releases.
