OmniVision, an advanced digital imaging solution provider, has announced the creation of its OV6948 image sensor and put it in the Guinness record book.
This camera sensor has a focal length of three to 30 mm with a viewing angle of 120 degrees.
OmniVision currently holds the record for the
world's smallest image sensor. It is much smaller than the tip of one's the index
finger. This camera sensor has a focal length of three to 30 mm with a viewing angle of 120 degrees.
The
sensor, which measures approximately 0.575 x 0.575 millimeters, is also
featured in the Guinness Book of Records.
OmniVision recommends that its sensor and camera module be primarily for medical use. The camera module can capture small areas of the body at high resolution through the blood vessels and capture nerves, parts of the eye, heart, spine, gynecological areas, joints, and kidney systems.
It can
take photos with 200x200 Pixel and especially record videos with 30 frames per
