The Mi 10 was launched in India with a 108MP camera

Last Friday the Mi 10 announced it will launch the long-awaited smartphone, the Mi 10. Due to the Covid-19 infection, the launch of this smartphone has been delayed. Xiaomi has finally launched this smartphone with Lockdown restrictions loosened in some areas now.

A flagship phone is supposed to have better specs but it will look and sound the part other than that. On that front, the Mi 10 5 G is on offer. The phone's front and rear feel like a curved glass tapestry. Combined with the high-gloss finish this is beautiful to look at. The coral tattoo we have is really lovely and you want to show it off. Even with the thin display bezels, the Mi 10 5G is quite large and weighs 208 grams. However, it does not feel too bulky as the thickness is less than 9mm.

The buttons on the Mi 10 are clickable. There is no headphone jack, but Xiaomi offers an adapter in the box. Below is the dual SIM tray with Type-C port and speaker. There is another similar speaker above the stereo sound. According to Siomi, this should provide uniform stereo sound compared to phones that use their earphones as a second speaker. You get an infrared emitter above.

Xiaomi is making a big point about the Mi 10's display and its color accuracy. This is definitely the most beautiful group with punch colors. It has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and is sharp enough, but the resolution is Full HD + (2340x1080) and not QHD +. It supports DCI-P3 wide color range and HDR10 + with a peak brightness of 1,120nits. The display runs at 90Hz, which is a big trend right now.

Mi 10 5G specifications and software:

The Mi 10 5G checks virtually all boxes based on the specifications of a primary phone - but no IP rating. Xiaomi  says the Mi 10 has a P2i finish to repel water, so it can escape accidental splashes. Do not submerge it in water. In addition, it has everything you could think of, starting with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0 storage, in-display fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6, faster wireless charging, and 5G. We have an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, but a second model with 256GB of storage. There is no microSD card slot to expand storage.

Mi 10 5G Performance and Battery Life:

The Snapdragon 865 is a powerful chip and easily crushes all our benchmarks. For those who are leaning numerically, the Mi 10 5G released 5,63,101 points on AnTuTu, far more than the Samsung Galaxy S20 + managed. However, with the Mi 10 5G benchmarks running a bit warming up, the CPU seems to be a little overpowered. We noticed this on the keychain, and our initial flow returned a score of 780 and 2,747 for the single and multi-core tests, but a few hours later another attempt yielded 902 and 3,002, respectively.
